Genuine 1920's Art Nouveau era bronze book rack. Stamped "9887." This piece depicts a classical greek scholar holding a book, with a bookshelf, and globe behind them. Underneath the depiction in Latin says, "Ars Longa Vita Brevis" meaning, "Art is long, life is short." Great condition, some wear from age.
